Did you know… It is estimated Orange County has 27,000 bereaved children, all in need of grief & bereavement support?
We receive daily calls seeking support, for many..what was once normal to them has completely changed. Sadly, there are very limited to no grief & bereavement support services in Orange County and we need your help to sustain our grief & bereavement center. We rely entirely on the support of individuals and businesses committed to making a difference in the communities in which they live and operate.
Unexpectedly, two of our largest funders informed us they will be eliminating & decreasing funding; a total loss of $45,000. It is in this regard that we appeal for your support to join us and Give the Gift of Hope. We urgently require finding support and partners to join us to fund our on-going grief support programs for the remainder of 2019. Will you please help us?
Children and adults who participate in our programs are comforted knowing that there are others, who like them have experienced the death of someone close. This experience is vital to our Orange County under-served youth & adults; many of whom do not have any access to the limited grief & bereavement support. OUR HOUSE Orange County was founded to provide much needed grief & bereavement support in our Orange County community. The organization serves and provides support for grieving children, teens & adults.
We receive daily requests for support and with your help, we will be better positioned to serve this growing/important part of our community. If you chose, you can contribute on our page. You can also join our efforts by starting your own fundraising page (click the button at the top of this page), it is quick, fun and easy, and most of all you will help keep grief & bereavement programs available.
Through the help and generosity of people like you, we are able to continue our work. Your compassionate support will truly make a big difference. Make sure to bookmark this page and come back often to check our progress! With Sincere Gratitude!
A little note from Joseph, who attended Camp Erin OC (a program of Our House)
-Joseph, age 10
“Camp helped me to be able to talk about my person that died. It also helped me to get rid of all the negative things in my mind. I made a lot of friends and I’m not as scared as I was before”
